So you have written some great content and are excited to share it with the world! If nobody even has the chance to read it, your well thought out and planned content is as good as wasted. Here are some tips to help you get your content exposed.
The first thing you need to do is make sure that you are writing content that is shareable. Ask yourself, is this something that our customers would find helpful? Would they want their friends to know about it? If the answer is yes then that’s great. They may share your content to their friends and family, and may even do some advertising for you by becoming constant followers. Positive word of mouth is invaluable.
You should always share and re-share your content on social media platforms where possible. You could use the heading or an enticing snippet from your blog post as a status on Facebook to get people interested and make people aware of your blog. Always make sure you provide a link to your blog site for them to read the complete article.
Send an e-newsletter out to all of your contacts. Your e-newsletter should include small descriptions or sections from each of your articles with links to your blog or website. This will give enough information to your customers to decide whether or not they want to read further (hopefully they will!), and then it will show them where to go to read further.
Submit your articles to various industry blogs or magazines. This way a lot more people will see your work, and it will reach a more diverse range of people too. This also means that people will see you from a different perspective, as a more credited expert in your field.
You could also make the most of vlogs (video blogs) and pod casts. This is great because it communicates your information and ideas in a different way and creates variety on your blog. It will also appeal to people who prefer to listen rather than read.
These are some of the ways you can increase your contents exposure, which leads to increasing your brand name and awareness, hopefully leading to more sales.
